BANQUETS

 

Passage to India has two separate Banquet facilities. The first is at Passage to India Restaurant, located at 1991 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View . There is a banquet room inside the restaurant that can accommodate up to 50 persons including children.

The second facility is at Passage to India Bakery located three street lights south of the restaurant at 1100 W. El Camino Real. The Bakery has two rooms: one can accommodate 50 persons, and the other can accommodate up to 30 persons including children.

 

PASSAGE TO INDIA RESTAURANT

The Banquet Room at Passage to India Restaurant can be reserved for parties of up to 50 persons including children. You will share the buffet with the restaurant’s guests. However some of your food preferences may be included on the menu that day to the extent possible.

 

CHARGES

This amount includes the charges for the facility as well as the food. The minimum charge for reserving the banquet room is as follows:

Lunch         Sat, Sun                            $ 600.00      for up to 40 persons

Lunch         Sat, Sun                            $ 500.00      for up to 30 persons

Dinner        Fri, Sat, Sun                       $ 600.00      for up to 40 persons

Dinner        Fri, Sat, Sun                       $ 500.00      for up to 30 persons

An additional 10 % will be charged for service charge.

Menu comprises of North Indian (Veg. & Non-Veg.), South Indian, Indian –Chinese &  Desserts.

Chat Corner during Saturday & Sunday lunch.

RESERVATION POLICY

For the purpose of billing everyone five years of age and above will be counted as an adult. The ages two, three and four will be counted as half and under one will be free.

Additional persons beyond what is included in the minimum will be charged at $ 15.00 each.

A non-refundable advance of $ 100.00 will be required to make reservation. If your reservation has to be cancelled due to an emergency, only half of your advance will be refunded in the form of store credit which can be used at either Passage to India location.

BANQUET TIMINGS

Lunch          Sat & Sun             11:30pm - 3:00pm

Dinner         Fri - Sun                6:00pm – 10:00 pm

 

Any reservation that fails to remain within the allocated time will be charged an additional $ 40.00 for every half-hour beyond the allocated time.

 

CAKE

Passage to India in addition to being a restaurant is also a full service bakery that specializes in all types of cakes for any occasion. If you order a cake from us to be served at your banquet, the cake will be delivered to the restaurant  taking the trouble out of your hands. 

 

DECORATION

You will be allowed to come and decorate the facility if you choose to do so. No scotch tape can be put on the walls; only thumbtacks can be used.

 

RESTRICTIONS:

No candles are allowed on the tables.

No chewing gum or chocolate is to be served to children.

No confetti is to be spread on the tables.

No turmeric is to be used in any ceremony.

No Henna to be used in any ceremony.

Vegetarian Restaurant

 

Passage to India bakery has two rooms behind the main bakery that can be reserved for banquets. One room can accommodate 50 persons and the other room can accommodate 30 persons including children. You will share the buffet with the restaurant’s guests. However some of your food preferences may be included on the menu that day to the extant possible.

 

CHARGES

This amount includes the charges for the facility as well as the food. The minimum charge for reserving the banquet room is as follows:

For 30 Person Banquet Room

Lunch         Sat, Sun                       $ 390.00      for up to 30 persons

Dinner         Fri, Sat                        $ 390.00      for up to 30 persons

Dinner         Sun                               $ 360.00      for up to 30 persons

 

For 50 Person Banquet Room

Lunch          Sat, Sun                          $ 650.00      for up to 50 persons

Dinner         Fri, Sat                           $ 650.00      for up to 50 persons

Dinner         Sun                                  $ 600.00      for up to 50 persons

Passage to India is a full service bakery that specializes in all types of cakes for any occasion. If you purchase a cake from us to be served at your banquet, the cake will be brought out in a tasteful trolley for you to cut.
